STUDIO POLICY

Female students are not accepted until the age of 12 or 13. Male students are not accepted until 13 or 14, and only if the voice has changed.

Primarily, teaching is based on the Italian bel canto method. Each student's vocal needs are considered individually. Vocal exercises, art songs, musical theater songs and for older students, arias, are incorporated into their training.

Weekly lessons are scheduled for beginning students for 30 minutes. Older and more advanced students may increase lesson time to 45 minutes. Any high school senior who is planning to audition for a college music program may receive additional lesson time.

“I feel incredibly blessed that music is my life. I can't even imagine what existence would be like without it, and it makes me sad to know there are so many people in this world who have no idea what they are missing.”
